Renowned rock photographer Mick “Hutch” Hutson has suddenly died, aged 58.
Born in Newcastle and raised in Aberdeen, Mick was previously a North Sea oil worker, who went from drilling wells to photographing global music stars including David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne, the Stones, Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson.
In 2014, Mick did an exhibition in Newcastle including photos of Michael, to celebrate his 25 years in photography.
He photographed Michael mostly during the Dangerous Era and took amazing pictures of the Dangerous World Tour which many of us seen or love:
Thank you Mick for capturing the King of Pop and may you rest in peace.
