On Saturday, October 26, the Heal Los Angeles Foundation hosted their “This Is Thriller” event at the Palace Theatre in Los Angeles.
To celebrate the occasion, Prince Jackson and his team transformed the Palace Theatre—particularly its facade—into a scene reminiscent of the iconic Thriller video, marking its 40th anniversary.
The 2 hours event, of course, started with a dance off on “Thriller” by “Thrill The World” LA team:
Followed by watching “The Making of Thriller” and an onstage interview of Rick Baker, the man behind the make-up and special effects of the famous Thriller Short film.
Fans present were also for a treat (or trick) as Allan “Big Al” Scanlan, Vincent Paterson, Kevin Stea (Black or White & Blood On The Dance Floor dancer) Ola Ray, Rushka Bergman and Karen Langford representing the Estate, were in the room:
