If you recall, “Big Boy”, the first ever recording of the Jackson 5 was sold to Media giant Ayozat back in April 2022.
Now it seems that the rights were passed on to a Swedish company called “Anotherblock” which allows you to become a co-owner in high-quality tracks.
As a music rights collector on anotherblock, you are eligible to receive royalties when your tracks are streamed, creating a new level of connection.
On December 7, anotherblock will release digitally “Big Boy” and you will have two options:
1. Open Edition at $25 which include:
– “big boy (one-derful version)” and its never-before-heard stems
– images of the master tape and agreements
– b-side, including stems: “michael the lover” and “my girl”
2. Limited Edition at $100 (only 1,000 available) which include:
– all features from the open edition
– uniquely designed artwork
– 8 additional songs and their never-before-heard stems* from the steeltown sessions in 1967; “big boy (steeltown version)”, “we don’t have to be over 21 (to fall in love)”, “you’ve changed”, “tracks of my tears”, “lonely heart”, “saturday night at the movies”, “stormy monday” and “under the boardwalk”
Stems are the individual components a song consists of, like the drum, guitar or voice track. this gives you a rare opportunity to explore and immerse yourself into the recording by singling out specific parts.
For “Big Boy”, you will not purchase ownership of the royalties but just the digital version of the songs.

Cool! Checked it out – does not seem to be rights tho. You are buying a collectibles item so that you can listen to it.
You are right, Anotherblock contacted us and for “Big Boy”, fans will only purchase the digital songs and artwork. The article has been modified.
Lonely Heart and Stormy Monday are new songs? I dont remember them.
Is it the first recording of Big Boy or the one on pre-history? And are the other ones alternate recordings or the same ones from the compilation please?
