In order to ensure our 14th Issue ‘Music and Me’ was the perfect representation of Michael’s music, we reached out to ‘Rob Hoffman’ to talk about his work with Michael. Rob worked on HIStory, Blood on the Dancefloor, Ghosts and the HIStory World Tour as well as the cancelled HBO special.
He’s credited as Engineer and Programmer, so naturally we sat down with him to find out what exactly this entailed when working for the King of Pop.
The Interview centers mainly around his work on the History album as it was our belief that not enough has been revealed about such a stand out record from Michael’s career. We also spoke about how Michael liked to work and Rob gives a fascinating inside in to just how spiteful the press could be.
We spoke about the recording of Scream and how Janet and Michael worked together, along with They Don’t Care and D.S.
