Santana says Michael Jackson was not guilty!

As you know, Santana just released a new album titled “Sentient” which includes “Whatever Happens”, the duet he did with Michael Jackson for the 2001 album “Invincible” and an instrumental cover of “Stranger in Moscow”, recorded live in 2007.

As part of the promotion of the new album, Santana is giving multiple interviews. One of them conducted by Kevin Perry for the Independent, Santana spoke about Michael Jackson.

Santana has been a steadfast defender of Michael Jackson. In his 2014 memoir, he shared his own traumatic experience of childhood sexual abuse, revealing that between the ages of 10 and 12, he was victimized by an American tourist who lured him with gifts. Despite the accusations against Michael, Santana remains convinced of his innocence. “The hostile forces on this planet have an agenda, and that’s to destroy your light,” he says. “Michael Jackson used his wealth to do a lot of good for children, and those forces didn’t like that.”

But who exactly are these shadowy forces? “The hostile forces are Satan, Lucifer, and the Devil,” Santana states matter-of-factly. He believes both he and Michael pose a threat to darkness. “We bring so much light that it inspires others to recognize their own,” he explains. If this sounds unconventional, Santana insists he’s not speaking in metaphors. “This isn’t some naive, feel-good energy,” he says. “This is what Miles Davis called ‘motherf***er energy.’”
