The World Championship of South American Show Dance took place last week-end in Varna, Bulgaria. In the discipline of Latin American dance, Giovanni Cavallo and Maldivia Polini on Saturday evening enchanted the stage with their Michael Jackson tribute.
A tribute to the king of pop with a complex choreography full of twists and turns, which the young couple managed to perform at their best, and among the six finalist couples, they won the silver medal.
“We worked hard to prepare this show – said Gianni Cavallo – a unique emotion, to be able to dance with his music at a world championship and succeed in the enterprise. Another added value to our career that makes us grow even more and motivates us to continue to believe in it, we still have many goals and dreams to achieve”.
Giovanni and Maldivia, in addition to being professional athletes of Latin American Dances, are also the technical directors of Move Dance Art and Sport which has several offices in the province of Ragusa and south-eastern Sicily.
