Taj Jackson went Live on youtube yesterday (Sunday 07/08/2022) for an hour and 40min to update Michael Jackson fans on his docu-series about the King of Pop and the truth about his life.
During the live stream, Taj thanked everyone who supported the project and donated and he got emotional.
He also personally thanked the Michael Jackson Estate, especially the late Howard Weitzman for his support.
Regarding the documentary “Re-writing HIStory” , Taj confirmed the following:
- The Docu-Series will be 11 episodes long
- All 11 episodes will be completed, filmed, edited and presented to distributors by 2023 (maybe earlier)
- A press release will be released this year on Michael Jackson’s Birthday – 29 August 2022.
- Taj is hoping to have unreleased footage of Michael Jackson
During the live Stream, Taj welcomed Chantal Obrist (Twitter: @katie4aday) to discuss the Michael Jacobshagen case. This individual was recently convicted to fraud for making us stories about his relationship with Michael Jackson, producing fake items and notes to sell to fans.
Chantal told the full story from 2019 to today’s result and how long and how much effort it took to get Jacobshagen convicted. Chantal also called on all the fans that have been in touch or purchased from Jacobshagen to be in touch with her.
Taj re-assured the fans that the project will be completed and understood people’s concerns.

I watched the recording of Taj’s live stream, and found Chantal’s contribution very interesting – especially the confirmation of Ola Ray’s association with Jacobshagen, including in relation to her recently released book.
