Politicians, Scientists, Celebrities, Activists, and Business leaders, all went to the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco which took place from 12 -14 September 2018 to speak and action on the climate change.
As we know, the subject is very sensible in America due to the actions of the president of the United States, Donald Trump. Thousands of people came to the city to protest, speak and find solutions that can change the climate change for the future generations.
The summit opened with one of Michael Jackson’s song: “Earth Song”. Michael really cared about climate and our planet and having this song playing by a choir in this summit is a true representation of Michael’s legacy and message he tried to pass on decades ago.
In the later years, songs like “Earth Song” or “They Don’t Care About Us” have been used often around the world to point out our issues, used in critical situations and denouncing the actions of our governments.
Michael’s message is universal and clearly he was a visionary. Is it the time that people finally listen to Michael and understand what he was talking about? Let’s hope so!
