It’s been nearly 2 years since the Michael Jackson HIStory Statue has been removed from the McDonald’s carpark in Best, Netherlands (April 2019).
It was rumoured that the statue was given to a Dutch Fan Club or a Michael Jackson Foundation but this is not true and did not happen.
The Statue is still in a warehouse in the Netherlands. The Restaurant owner, Peter van Gelder, who placed the statue there in 1996 said he has already explored places where the statue could be put. “The idea is that it will be in a public place, so it is accessible to fans. That way it becomes a gift for all the fans”.
The good news is that the statue is still intact and waiting for the perfect place to be placed on.
