The “Thriller” Dance has been part of the Sioux Falls Zombiewalk for several years.
The parade started in 2006 and this is the 16th year of it despite few miss due to COVID. The Parade theme this yea is the 1980s but the main attraction is the famous Michael Jackson Thriller Dance which pre-pandemic had over 1,800 zombies and the organisers are hoping for even more ghoulish people to take part.
Dance classes are available through Sioux Falls Community Education and held at Eugene Field Elementary. They start at 6 p.m. Thursdays, and there are options to make up classes if you miss any. The class is taught by Lisa Myhre. All ahead of the main even on October 28!
So if you are not at Kingvention, at least go to Sioux Falls for a Thriller of Halloween!
