On the occasion of the commemoration of the death of Michael Jackson (June 25, 2009), a show will premier in Costa Rica brought from Vienna, Austria.
It is The Spirit of Michael Jackson, a musical that looks at the life and career of the King of Pop. The shows will be on August 3 & 4, at 8 p. m., at the Teatro Popular Melico Salazar in San Jose.
The show will be presented as part of the celebrations of the 14th anniversary of the 80’s & More program, which broadcasts the channel VM Latino, according to its producer, Mauricio Alvarado.
In the musical director, dancer and choreographer Californian Julian Jackson who plays Michael will be supported by the use of high quality lights, giant screens and laser effects that emulate concerts featuring the singer’s hits.
“Many fail to see Michael and this will be the best opportunity to get an idea of the shows that he did. Throughout his career, from the early years until the last days of his life are represented in this musical, “commented Mauricio Alvarado.
In addition to the protagonist of the story, the show has more than 14 artists, among which the Italian actor Massimo Ferrera, the Japanese designer Yukyi Lee, the French director Stell Martineau, the engineer José Luis Cervantes (who participated in Cats, The participating phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables) and Chilean singer Caro Molina.

The tickets are already available in www.eticket.cr and Servimás outlets. Until Thursday July 14, the sale will be exclusively for users of American Express cards. From Friday 15 to Tuesday 19, it is only available to customers Credomatic and from Wednesday 20, will be open to any form of payment.
Prices range from ¢ 16,000 to ¢ 46,000 as the location in the theater.
