As announced in May, a new statue of Michael Jackson has been unveiled on June 23 in Shanghai, China.
Organised by MJShanghai in association with MJJCN, the statue was funded by Chinese fans. The set up was done the day before in preparation of the ceremony:
Fans gathered around the statue that was covered of a red velvet with a big screen in the back ground playing the HIStory Teaser and once the statue was unveiled to the fans present, a big cheer was heard, confetti were launched.
