The celebratory album of the biggest selling album of all time has arrived! Fans around the world have pre-ordered or went to stores today to purchase the “Thriller 40” album which contains 10 “new” tracks.
Despite the Estate and Sony not promoting the album as we would have expected for a Michael Jackson new release, few countries and stores have played the part and promoted the album as it should be!
In Japan, stores have pulled out the displays, posters, and filled the racks with the new album in CDs and Vinyls but also a van was going around the city promoting the album.
In China, it’s all digital screen for Thriller 40 and few cities got a nice display of Michael Jackson:
In Germany, Dusseldorf, during the Immersive Experience, the album was also promoted through the city on big screens:
Meanwhile, in California, Thriller 40 was displayed on Hollywood Boulevard:
