Last Sunday (October 20), a crowd gathered in downtown La Crescent in Minnesota for the 6th annual “Thriller” dance recreating Michael Jackson famous short film.
Organizer and choreographer Meagan Waddell, dancing the lead part in the performance, says this year’s event drew a record group of about 75 dancers.
The dancers performed the Thriller routine around 6 p.m., doing it twice for the street audience. Waddell says she’d like to stage more of the Michael Jackson video in future years.
The Thrillerween continues and if you would like to show your support to the Crescent crew, visit their facebook page.
I’m in Branson, MO for the first time after going through two hurricanes. Although most of the contents and both mine and my wife’s 2024 cars were destroyed by bay water, I’m here enjoying this Michael Jackson show tremendously and forgetting about all the bad things that awaits me when I get back to St. Petersburg, FL. My front lawn looks like a junk yard, and wedding and baby picture albums of my two daughters are destroyed.
