Greg Cannom, the four time Oscar-winner makeup artist, the genius behind the Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula (1992), Mrs Doubtfire (1993) and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) has been suffering from poor health for a long time and gotten worse this past few months to the point he was just hospitalized and amputated below the knew on March 5th.
Michael Jackson Fans will know him best for the work he did as a makeup artist on “Thriller” but also played a zombie in the pop-cultural musical short film.
Following the huge financial costs of his treatment, his friends and family took it to GoFundMe to seek help to raise $75,000 which has been reached and overpassed to over $90,000.
The page says that “Greg’s ultimate goal is to become healthy enough to officially retire to the Hollywood Motion Picture Home”.
