In September 2016, we shared with you a video created by Tobias Ellehammer “Black or White” which was a real success on youtube with over 820,000 views!
Tobias, the London based Choreographer is back with a brand new video titled “Scream”. The video was released on New Year’s day.
The video is first a creative masterpiece of dance or amazing choreography but also amazing visuals.
Lets not wait any longer and watch the video here:
Tobias’ statement for this video shows how much work those dancers have contributing to with over 2 years in the making!
“SCREAM is a story told exclusively through dance and cinematography with the purpose of highlighting many of the issues that divide and fracture our society today. Being afraid of what we don’t understand is part of human nature , but with a little understanding these fears can be turned into a positive energy that will transcend through generations and leave the world a better place than when we found it.
This final chapter of the Jackson Trilogy marks the conclusion to the story that began in the BurnItUp! Video and then was followed by the BlackOrWhite video. Both videos were created in the spirit of the strong loving messages “Stay Versatile” and “Humanity should be our race, Love should be our religion”. With this final video the story comes full circle in the most complete beautiful way. Having been 2 years in the making this project is by far the most personal and accomplished production I have ever worked on and it demonstrates how much care has been put into each scene of the video from the entire team of extraordinary talents. Captured in the most stunning way by the DOP’s Josh Kinsella from Ninetyonefilms and Mike Dones from LA, this project also marks a long awaited collaboration between all three of us.
Within the theme of fear this film is a personal journey of an inner emotional battle where fear (if allowed) can ultimately take over and the struggle to rise against it from within and not letting it define who you are.
The film addresses the importance of giving hope and inspiration to others and how that in the end it will come back to help us when we need it the most. The world is meant for all of us. All bound by love. Love for humanity as a singular united race and that’s the most important message of all. The film finally addresses the responsibility we have to take care of each other and how important it is for all of us to guide the next generation into not making the same mistakes as we’ve made on that and many other topics. Children are the future. Let’s do our best to prepare them the best we can. We’ve got a huge responsibility in doing so and in teaching them, that being different yet united by love and mutual respect is the most beautiful thing in the world. Don’t be afraid.
Humanity must aim to understand its differences, in order for fear to dissolve and life to begin. – Tobias Ellehammer “
