After last article on Kingvention on Saturday 28, here our second part: Sunday 29 October.
After an all-nighter dancing and celebrating Michael Jackson, Kingvention day 2 will have a later start: 11am.
But this second day is very special because it will be the exact date of the release of Michael Jackson’s “Moonwalker”, 35 years ago!
So obviously all will be about this iconic and pop-culture phenomenon movie staring Michael Jackson.
The first stop is a special Moonwalker 35th Anniversary exhibition where fans will be able to see artifacts and learn facts about the movie they might not know!
On stage, the first stop is Craig Lamont Parks interview. Craig’ story is really one that can be defined as a ‘Dream Come True’. After all, not every fan gets the opportunity to work with Michael Jackson and become his official double. As somebody who bore witness to all aspects of the creation of Moonwalker and music videos for The Way You Make Me Feel, Speed Demon, Dirty Diana, Smooth Criminal and Leave Me Alone, Craig has plenty of stories to tell. This will be followed by a 30min Q&A where fans will be able to ask questions.
After a small break, for the first time ever, “Walking On The Moon”, a mini-documentary directed by Pez Jax, will be screened in the main room; followed by of course the movie “Moonwalker”.
And after the Meet & Greet, fans will be saying goodbye to Kingvention 2023 edition.
